and welcome to the UK manga ka club, for uk manga creators and artists, and the people who love it as well., *kriffix made one on tokyopop [www.tokyopop.com] so i thought, why not make one here! Ireland is welcome too!

How to join and Submit Artwork

it's simple really, just send a note entitled "JOIN" and watch the club. Please do send a note - it makes adding member's easier and more systematic.

We accept manga/comic page submissions or promos for any manga/comics, as long as they are done by U.K artists. For regular art submissions, we ask that your work has something to do with the U.K. And of course, in both cases, it should be influenced by the manga style. Just send us a note entitled "ART" with a link to the piece you would like put up.

UK manga-ka Challenge

These challenges are run every few months, and you are given a prompt or a theme and asked to create 1-5 pages of manga.

The current theme is: it must have a central theme of cute and involve food.

There will be another challenge issued on May 1st hopefully.

Featured Artist

To suggest a featured artist, please send the club a note with the subject "Artist Feature"

This weeks feature is...:

- Manga Mace.

Mace is a well known figure around the UK scene - at the moment, he's busy organising the UK indie artbook, Dreams, which will be released at May expo (hopefully). His artwork is amazing, and shows a lot of promise, so go and support Mace and give him loads of watches!
